Total Lack of Culture Shock

January 9, 2013May 28, 2016 By Denise

We flew on Air New Zealand to Aukland on a brand new jet. The safety video was a humorous spoof of The Hobbit, very cleverly done.

In Fiji everyone spoke English, were very friendly, and went out of their way to make visitors feel at home. In New Zealand it’s much the same. Aukland is a lot like San Francisco and the people are all so nice. We found a great spot for the foodie versions of bangers and mash (British comfort food made with sausage and potatoes) and then tried to do some catching up on processing our photos and writing these blurbs.
